How To Make The Best Of Your Open Wedding Venue

The matches made in heaven deserve to be celebrated and cherished down on earth to the best of our ability. And there isn’t quite anything like a big fat Indian wedding when it comes to having a splendid and fun-filled fiesta. Spacious outdoor locations have risen to popularity among marrying couples for their scenic greenery. If you wish to get wedded under the stars in the midst of nature, here is how to get the wedding decorations right by incorporating every element of your venue in it.

Pool

Most wedding locations, especially luxury hotels, come equipped with indoor or outdoor pools. Even if you’re not having a poolside weddinggar exactly, do not leave the area unadorned if it’s in the view of the guests. A simple addition such as a row of fresh flower garlands hung on a wooden frame are sufficient. If you want to make it look more glamorous for a nighttime event, outline the pool with a combination of string lights and floral clusters. Ornate metal or paper lamps can be put in as well.

Arbors

Outdoor garden venues richly covered in flora are often provided with shaded pathways or narrow arbors or passages that can be made to look enchanting with the right decoration. The best way is to go for arches- either ones made entirely of florals or those combining flowers and string lights. They provide added cover and will make you feel like you’ve stepped into a fairy tale.

Pruned Lawns

Sprawling lawns, either with neatly trimmed grass or with various kinds of greenery gracing the venue, have each a personality of their own. The expansive space can, however, sometimes feel blank and empty if not adorned adequately. Decorate the trees and bushes with ample lights, hanging crystal embellishments and flowers. Drapes decoration can also be done by tying them in various patterns from the branches.

Canopies

Open venues are usually dotted with semi-covered spaces such as canopies of various sizes. Whether you decide to make them a central focus by using them as a mandap or just leave them as decorative sites, there are many options to choose from. A simple and quick decoration can be done with the help of lanterns, string lights and flower garlands. For mandap decoration however, you need to take it up a notch with the use of cascading drapes and floral runners.
