One of the best moments of the whole wedding ceremony is when the beautiful bride walks down the aisle. It is because people and most importantly the groom has been waiting to see the bride for so long! And of-course the entry of the bride matters a lot. So be it the decor, lighting or the overall vibe- it has to be worthy and picturesque. Now most of the people make this mistake of leaving the aisle as it is but this is another chance to show your creativity and get closer to the wedding of your dreams. Just imagine the photos and videos captured while you walk down the aisle! I guess now you get the point.

Simple but on fleek

First up is this amazing look put together with just a few items and props but absolutely look divine. My favorite part is definitely the curtains on both sides of the aisle. You can go ahead with the clean floral borders like so or scatter petals all over the aisle. And the pastel color palette is to die for! The dark flowers used to decorate the entrance of the mandap and also the ones used to tie the curtains give the perfect contrast that the whole look requires.

Such simple aisle decors are put together so that the main focus remains on the couple.  So if you want  that- avoid using any big centerpieces or over-the-top flower decorations.

Glass floor

This whole decor is dreamy and royal at the same time. But I think the aisle floor leading towards the stage just steals the show!  Glass flooring is perfect if you want to do something unconventional. In this case the floor is stuffed with beautiful flower arrangements and lights which add to the uniqueness even more. This can also involve water if it’s an outdoor wedding decoration; the two sides of the aisle can have streams of water flowing or even the aisle itself can be built of glass over a stream of water.

Just imagine the reflection of the whole stage decor in the water. This is another way to add amazing pictures of the whole decor in your wedding album. All this effort is worthy if you really want to add a wow factor to the theme and make your entry unforgettable.

The castle stairs

Well! I bet you are going to look like a queen on your big day so might as well choose an aisle that is best suited to welcome a queen.

You can look for a venue that has the main stairs from where you can make a grand entry. This royal entrance will surely leave your guests in awe. Also! This would make a great backdrop for your wedding photos and videos. The stairs can be adorned with beautiful color coordinated flower bouquets and the steps with an infinite number of candles or lanterns. Last but not the least; the white flower carpet absolutely looks divine.

A cave from heaven

If you want to be a little more extra, well! You are at the right place. This theme is all about making your wedding a once in a lifetime moment, so it has to be special and doesn’t matter if it’s over the top. This setup is great if you have a long aisle or the pathway leading to the stage or the mandap. All you have to do is cover every inch of the walls with flowers like hydrangeas, roses or even marigolds. The aisle sideways can again be filled with huge candles and this decor is definitely set up for success.

Classic Red carpet

When it comes to that old velvety red carpet, this setup never gets out of fashion. This is just another way to add a bit of royalty through the dark hues of red. It is simple, doesn’t require any props and is easy to execute at any kind of  venue.  If you want to add some props, you can probably cover the side chairs with extra drapes and flowers in order to define the island and provide it with a bit of pattern. This kind of simplicity will complement the decor if you already have a lot going on the stage decor and other sections.

The red carpet has been a staple in almost all Indian wedding decoration themes for quite some time now. As they provide a required amount to grandeur and finesse to the whole theme.
